Patient Needs Never End

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: every patient has a next step. If a patient is offered treatment but does not accept it at the time, do not be discouraged or take it personally. Every patient is at a different point in the buying cycle, and some may require more time to weigh their options.

When a patient refuses treatment, it is critical that they are included in the ongoing care report on which your office is working. This could be unaccepted production, such as fillings, crowns, or extractions, or it could be routine hygiene visits. You can ensure that patients’ treatment does not fall through the cracks by establishing a process for continued care!
