WHEN YOU FIRST MEET A NEW PATIENT, YOU DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM. THE DENTAL INTERVIEW WILL HELP TO IDENTIFY A PATIENT’S WANTS, NEEDS, AND CONCERNS WHILE ALSO BUILDING RAPPORT. IF USED TO ITS FULL EXTENT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL BARRIERS TO ACCEPTING TREATMENT PRIOR TO THE PATIENT EVEN WALKING INTO YOUR PRACTICE.
